Andrew Corbett 

Andrew Corbett is the Paul T. Babson Distinguished Chair of Entrepreneurial Studies, the Chair of the Entrepreneurship Division, and the Faculty Director for the Butler Institute for Free Enterprise through Entrepreneurship at Babson College.  Dr. Corbett holds an appointment as a Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at Nord University Business School in Bodø, Norway, is a Trustee of the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (United Kingdom), and on the Board of Directors for Babson Global, Inc.

A recent research study named Dr. Corbett as one of the Top 25 Entrepreneurship Researcher in the World. This independent research article noted that his work was among the most cited and impactful since the turn of the century.  Dr. Corbett’s primary areas of research are corporate entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning and cognition, and entrepreneurship education. He has published dozens of research articles and is the author/editor of a dozen books. 

An expert on pedagogy and the development and delivery of entrepreneurship education in all forms and modalities, Dr. Corbett primarily teaches feasibility, business planning, analytics, and marketing for entrepreneurs.   His extensive, practical experience finds him consulting and teaching to corporate clients across the globe.  

  

Nicole Votolato Montgomery

Nicole Votolato Montgomery is an Associate Professor of Commerce at the McIntire School of Commerce. She is passionate about all things digital and currently teaches courses on various aspects of digital marketing and analytics. Her research focuses on issues related to consumer information processing. She aims to understand how the context in which information is obtained impacts how consumers integrate information into their evaluations of brands and organizations. In particular, she studies the implications that the evolving business environment has on consumer engagement with brands and receptivity to organizational communication strategies. Her research has appeared in Journal of Consumer Research; Journal of Applied PsychologyJournal of Personality and Social Psychology; and Journal of Consumer Psychology. Her work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, U.S. News and World Report, Wired, NPR, and BBC Radio
